Tottenham's Transfer Window: Loan Approach for Bayern Munich Forward and Potential New Signings

Tottenham have reportedly made an approach to sign Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel on loan until the end of the season. This comes as part of Tottenham's active involvement in the January transfer window, which has seen seven players leave and two players join the club. Timo Werner arrived on loan from RB Leipzig, while Radu Dragusin joined permanently from Genoa in a €30m deal. There are rumors that Tottenham may add to their squad before the transfer deadline, with Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge and Conor Gallagher from Chelsea among the reported targets. However, Bayern Munich has ruled out a loan deal for Tel in the winter, unless they bring in a new striker to support Harry Kane. In other news, Tottenham is set to invite Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall to visit their training ground in an attempt to lure him to the club this summer. Barcelona is also interested in Bergvall and is willing to pay £6m plus £2.5m in add-ons to secure his services. Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes that the club needs to improve their forward line to compete at the top level. Despite their recent FA Cup defeat to Manchester City, Redknapp predicts that Tottenham will finish fourth in the Premier League this season.
